SkyFest is happy to have drop zones from 4 states involved in our Scholarship program. Over 65 jumpers have received more than $20,000.00 in coaching jumps in the last 7 years and we could not have done it without them. Thank you!

How it works!

SkyFest and the DZ work out a deal so that 2 candidates from each DZ will receive 3 free coaching jumps with video. The funds can also be used for continued education such as Canopy Control Course, obtaining a Coaches Rating or other items that increase one's safety. Our goal is to create a Nation Wide Scholarship Program someday that will continue to assist in the growth, safety and retention of the sport.  Despite that our funds are limited, we work with what we have available and are very proud that over $20,000.00 in coaching or training jumps have been distributed to 65 skydivers thus far. 

Have an idea, thought, or want to sponsor a candidate?  Please drop us a line, we are always open to any and all suggestions.  You don't have to be a DZ to sponsor someone. Anyone can do it, and you will be amazed with the low cost of the program! Put it this way; its cheaper than buying 10 jumps, the coaches involved donate their time thus eliminating the "coaching" fees we normally see today!

Bottom line:  The more we grow, the more jumpers get to take advantage of the Jerry Schrimsher Skydiving Scholarship Program (JSF)
